I've installed the plugin (correctly as far as I can see) however when I try to open a pdf I get and error:

'This document cannot be opened because it was processed with an invalid webpublisher licence'

any ideas?

Wow, that's strange. Can you tell me exactly the URL of the document that gives that message. Do you get the same message on both of these URLs?

1. http://www.nr.com/plugin/pluginok.pdf

2. http://www.nrbook.com/a/bookcpdf/c1-0.pdf

We'll ask the FileOpen folks what is going on.

Anybody else getting this issue?

We got this response from FileOpen (emphasis added):

Thanks for pointing out this issue. It seems we made a mistake with your license entry on a list used by older versions of the plugin to check the validity of licenses. The license-check functionality was removed about a year ago, on the basis that it presented too much risk of creating problems exactly like this one. So the user in question must have a relatively old version of the client. Installing the current client would have removed the error, but it should now be fixed for all versions, so please ask the user to try again.

It is still not clear how you came to have an older version of the plugin (perhaps previously installed for some other subscription and forgotten?). But hopefully things will now work properly for all plugin versions.

If you or anyone else still has this problem, please add to this thread.

The problem seems to have disappeared overnight - cheers
