I am interested in using the asymptotic approximation for the kuiper test p-value described on p. 627 and was wondering for which n (sample size) can this approximation be used, and is there any guarantee on its quality. How was this approximation obtianed (there are no refs. in the book)?

In addition, are there non-asymptotic approximations (i.e. dependent on n)?
