Hello
I would like to use the powell minimization algorythm so as to minimise a function given by an acquisition system.
The thing is that i have 13 paramaters varying in a range from 0 to 2000, and i have no clue where different local minima could be, if there are several ones.
In fact, i have no idea about the function my acquisition board is going to give to me!
So my question is : have anybody ever dealt with that kind of issue? Is Powell powerful enough? Won't i need to shorten the parameter range?etc..
Thank you for helping
Cheers
