I executed the 'mrqmin' code using gcc......But making more no.. of malloc() leads to segmentation fault (I checked this thing by a simple program). Finally
I converted the code for fixed array type variables........But I this *chisq is diverging........ May somewhere I made some error.....but I am not able to find out the reason.......

Now if I want to use the original code as it is......Than is there any way to get read of segmentation faults because of malloc().......

Or what would be best alternative........?
