I would like to see mrqmin upgraded to work with functions of more than one variable. Any chance of this happening in the near future?
On a related note, I found it to be pretty straightforward to translate the C++ code for the existing mrqmin [and associated functions] to Java, once I made the time commitment. I hava a Java version of the NR mrqmin example working just fine. If anyone needs pointers on how to port the C++ code to Java while we wait for the official release of NR for Java, I can help.
