Equation 20.2.1 is the diffusion equation with diffusion coefficient D.
The chapter says let's start by considering D (the diffisuon coefficient) as a constant. As far as I can see, it never goes on to consider non-constant D. Could someone point me to a method of solving the equation where D is a function of u?
