Hi,

I use the following software:

Ubuntu Linux 7.06 (Edgy)
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6
Adobe reader 7.0.8

Opening from the web site a NR pdf that I had already opened a month or so ago I got the following message (see attachment). The problem can be solved by deleting the ~/.fileopen directory.

Just reporting the bug...

Thanks, tlesinsk.

We haven't seen this problem before, but we have seen other (rare) instances where the plug-in gets confused about documents downloaded more than 30 days previously -- most of the time this doesn't occur, however.

Thanks for pointing out the fix. Probably you only needed to delete one of the .sek files in that directory, but deleting the whole directory, while radical, should always also work.

If any Windows users encounter this issue, the relevant directory is something like

C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application Data\FileOpen

instead of the Linux ~/.fileopen .
